The action is relocated from the sun-soaked backstreets of Harran to the sun-soaked countryside just beyond Harran, but don’t be dismayed: The Following is huge. Level 12 is important because that’s when you unlock the grapple, unarguably the handiest tool in the whole game. You can jump into the expansion from the main menu whenever you like and export any of your saved characters in, although it recommends you be at least Survivor Level 12 (which takes between 10 and 15 hours on an average first-time playthrough). The Bozak Horde endurance challenge, the table-turning “Be the Zombie”, mode and a suite of blueprints, weapons, and outfits for beleaguered hero Kyle Crane spoiled us, and many were pretty happy before the announcement of full-fat expansion, The Following. Not only that, but it continued to get better after release thanks to the constant stream of downloadable content with which Polish developer Techland kept us sweet. If there is no bug and no "enchanced" players, I reckon you get at least another 100 hours from the online games.Dying Light was better than we thought it was going to be, let’s be dead honest. If you turn it on to avoid these players, your game will crash 5 to 10 minutes into the game. If you turn it off, you can play invasion or coop game but there is very high chance to meet players with "hacked" or modded enhancement.

It is a shame that the coop game is buggy after the addition of VAC. The story, overall, to me anyway, started off quite strong, then sizzled out into puff of smoke. Story wise, I personally think that there is no story better than The Last of Us as far as zombie game is concerned. Somehow, I felt as if I was "doing homework" instead of playing a game. (I have finished The Following in normal difficulty) I personally find that The Following is not as fun as the base game due to the fact that parkour is not really necessary and there are missions that require parkour, they are not challenging at all. I am the minority that do not like driving game but I still managed to max it out in normal mode.

With The Following, there is the driver skill tree as you get to drive a buggie around the country side. And that is why a lot of players "cheated" to level up Legend skill.Īll the DLCs prior to the release of The Following DLC are, in my opinion, pointless, except The Bozak Horde of course. In any case, Techland has made it ridiculously, I won't say hard, but long winded to level up the Legend skill. In normal mode, you don't really need to max out in the Legend skill. Then if you like more challenge, go straight to nightmare mode, don't bother with hard mode. But I do recommend you to max out in at least the power skill tree before getting to sector 0. If you haven't played the game before, I recommend you to play in normal difficulty first to learn where things are, what to expect around which corners. Also, the fact that stamina no longer stays at max during fighting makes the fighting experience much more interesting. Techlands had made all zombies much tougher, including the lowly one. The enhanced edition is what the game should be in the first place. I found that after I have max out all the skill trees, the game had lost all attractions. I played through the game in all the different difficulty modes. But I still spent almost 600 hours due to the parkour. After spending over 800 hours in this game, the orignal version was a little lame in my opinion. However, as I understood from reading different threads in this forum, the graphics improvement was general accepted but in game mechanics was entirely different matter.

Basically, Techlands had released an update that improved the graphics and in game mechanics.

I personally think that the better word to use is original base game, i.e.
